Pammy Godoy is on a mission to equip parents to become Askable Parents to their children on sexuality-related issues and create teachable moments on love, dating, and relationships. She believes that when young people are empowered with positive values, life skills, and knowledge with regard to their well-being and sexuality, they can unleash their potential to act as powerful agents of change.

Pammy is a teacher-at-heart. She taught Gender Studies and Women’s Studies at De La Salle University – Manila and St. Scholastica’s College, respectively. She imparted AIDS and HIV awareness among call center agents in partnership with MTV Asia and DKT Philippines.

As a development worker since 2008, she provided technical expertise to the Department of Education on life-skills based adolescent reproductive health education for in-school and out-of-school youth. She collaborated with the Department of Social Welfare and Development in its effort to support parents to effectively guide their adolescents. She has also been passionately working with government agencies and NGOs to address the issue of violence against women and children.

Pammy holds a Masters Degree in Communication from the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

Pammy is based in Manila with her husband, Claro Cortes IV. They are a blended family with six children.
